Kingsport Veterinary Hospital

Established in 1949, Dr. George Eason and the staff members dedicated themselves to providing only the finest treatment to each patient. Over time as the practice grew and ownership changed hands, the core mission and values remained the same.

American Animal Hospital Association Accredited

Founded in 1933, AAHA currently maintains approximately 900 standards that directly connect to the care we provide to each patient. Each standard is periodically evaluated and updated to ensure they include the latest technology and services in veterinary medicine.

Since 2002 our hospital has regularly undergone inspections by AAHA to ensure that we comply with the Association’s high standards of care.

How Does This Affect You and Your Pet?

To become and remain AAHA certified we have gone through and passed the most thorough and rigorous tests involving random inspections of our facility, faculty, management, and medical equipment.

Although AAHA accreditation is voluntary, every requirement is very important. With that in mind, we strive to surpass AAHA’s guidelines.
